Peaceful Setting

Wollondale is a 1200 acre property situated 22 kms north of historic Goulburn and an easy 2 hour drive from Sydney and one hour from Canberra.
The farm has approximately 3 kms of river frontage to the Wollondilly River.
We run a commercial Poll Hereford herd of cattle as well as being home to rare breeds of sheep, cattle, pigs and poultry.
Bush walks will allow you to see plenty of kangaroos and wombats in the wild and we have four alpacas which guard our sheep.
Nearby are the Tarlo and Morton National Parks which offer rugged terrain, firetrails, bushwalks and spectacular gorges.
We have two cottages which have lovely rural views.

Rare Breeds

Wollondale specializes in the breeding of rare breeds and we are members of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia whose principal purpose is to protect and encourage the conservation and breeding of endangered domestic farm livestock in Australia.
Our rare breeds include Hampshire Down Sheep, White Park cattle, Large Black Cornish pigs and Welsummer and Buff Orpington Bantam Poultry.
We also have ducks and geese and alpacas.
Wollondale is also a Wildlife Reserve and we have kangaroos and wombats and many species of birds which can be seen particularly in the early morning and late afternoons along the banks of the River. Platypus can sometimes be seen in the larger reaches of the River.
